The Ankh on Mars is a blend of Spoken Word Poetry and Hip Hop. Kamal Imani is shining light on the link between Mars, Egypt and African people in a fun and creative way. Kamal loves Ancient history and loves to utilize it as a tool to inspire and awaken people.
Kamal was born in Harlem and raised partially in the Bronx and later Teaneck NJ

1/31 addition spoken word:
Just like in khemit or so called Egypt, our ancestors use to rock the original Cross called the Ankh
It’s said to be a conductor of electromagnetic energy
Being that we are electromagnetic beings----
Therefore i’s symbol is the key of eternal life
And the recent discovery of it on the Planet Mars shows not only a level of high civilization but of intergalactic travel and communication
I WROTE A LITTLE SONG ABOUT IT…YOU WANNA HEAR IT? WELL HERE WE GO!
They found the ankh on Mars
You know the Ankh is ours
We need the ankh in the streets
And behind jail bars
As above so below
You know my peoples are stars
They found the face on mars
On mars they found faces
Just like the sphinx
Representing black races
They try to erase this
They so tasteless
They can’t face this or taste this
Like hot sauce on the tongue
Our souls are solarbound
Spittin fire we the sun
Amen Re’s Sun Rays Burning reptillions
You know the pyramids in khemit
Are aligned to Orion
You know the the Black Mans the Lion, In history you keep lying
You know the Gods are uprising. So you conquering dividing
My soldiers and my thugs - It’s time to know who you are
Rep the Red Black and Green
We got the Ankh up on mars!
They found the ankh on Mars
You know the Ankh is ours
We need the ankh in the streets
And behind jail bars
As above so below
You know my peoples are stars
They found the face on mars

PERFORMING ARTS  are art forms in which artists use their body or voice to convey artistic expression—as opposed to visual arts, in which artists use paint/canvas or various materials to create physical art objects. Artists who participate in performing arts in front of an audience are called performers. This is a performer! (smile)

It is with great sadness to hear of the death of Donna Summer on May 17, 2012, an American singer-songwriter who gained prominence during the disco era of the late 1970s. Donna was the first artist to have three consecutive double albums reach number one on the U.S. Billboard chart.  Read more here, about this great and wonderful artist that we will truly miss and loved so much...RIP Donna!
