Subject: Fwd: WADU Leaders Called for AU Summit leaders in SOUTH AFRICA push for Pan African Decisons
Date: Fri, 25 May 2012 00:26:00 -0400
With the AU not able to invite strong voices like Omowale Clay (December the 12th Movement, AUDITT and WADU) to the Summit at the last minute, we are unsure of the quality and even the quantity participants that are invited to the South African Diaspora Summit organized by Dr. Jinmi Adisa of the AU office in Ethiopia. Thus, WADU leaders continue to insist that the African Diaspora (Dudley Thompson) 2012 resolution be a primary basis for "the decisions by African Union and African Diaspora Summit leaders in South Africa from May 25-26, 2012 be reflective of, dedicated to and in honor of the work and vision of the “Legendary” Amb assador Dudley Thompson and other great Pan Africanists..." "to promote African Diaspora (dual) citizenship, political and social representation in the African Union, reparations, and the immediate union of Africa by 2017 on the 100 birthday of His Excellency Dudley Thompson."
Dr. Leonard Jeffries will have to be the primary vehicle to rally support for this resolution at this Summit and to ensure that the core Pan African agenda is not compromised as Africa has been compromised by increased global attack on Africa and the weakness of our leaders to rally resistance against the recent forms of imperialism, neo-colonialism and foreign State/corporate land grab across the continent. WE MUST ACT DECISIVELY FOR AFRICA AND AFRICAN PEOPLE!!!
