Thanks again UDB Auset for this update. I had gone
to the Police Dept. to inquire about more info and
all they could say to me is that they could not speak
because it was an ongoing investigation.

At that time, I had already learned of the treats and
that it was certainly not a Belizean who did these murders.

The police should be able to solve this case very soon
because if I am able to get information without their
professional assistance, they certainly will be able to.

Slain Canadian received threats, Belize police say

Tragic Toronto snowbird Francesca Matus had been threatened in the days before her strangulation murder in a Belize sugar cane field.

And she was scared.

Cops say two suspects are now in custody but investigators are certain more people were involved in the deaths of Matus, 52, and her boyfriend, former Marine Drew DeVoursney, 36.
