Bro. Hassan .... As sad a commentary this is concerning the inability of those who have made considerable profits maintaining stereotypes.  I put the brunt of the blame on the consumer that allows him/herself to be locked into the specific definition of what is means to be "Black".  WACPTV is one the the few in the vanguard that points towards a new progressive vision of the Black present and future.  While the jury is still out for me personally about the National Black Church Initiative.  Please keep trying the collective fund raising effort.  Because If successful, it will serve as a beacon for united and cooperative joint ventures.  In addition to WACPTV there is   http://www.usliftingus.com/

and a host of others .... stay tuned.

We may not see that placing One Leader ahead of a group as being RELIGION

but it is RELIGION that pushes this type of thought....

JESUS FOLLOWERS, AL SHARPTON FOLLOWERS, FARRAKHAN FOLLOWERS, MOSES FOLLOWERS, ETC. This practice is called RELIGION. It is the certification of ONE who God has favored over others. This leaves out any and all other possibilities... A MAJOR SETBACK FOR OUR COMMUNITIES YESTERDAY AND TODAY!

I personally disagree TOTALLY with the RELIGIOUS PHILOSOPHY AND BELIEF SYSTEMS.... IT TAKES A GROUP OR VILLAGE CONCEPT as non of us are Superior to others in a way that gives them ALL KNOWLEDGE in every category.

This WACPtv Community was created with the overstanding that at least 12 different unique categories of LEADERSHIP AND LEADERS is necessary to form and inform the masses.

For those who worship Tyler Perry, he or his peeps just turned down a request to assist the community that he built his studios in... THE GREENBRIAR COMMUNITY IN ATL. We ask and proposed to RE-OPEN THE OLD MAGIC JOHNSON THEATER and turn it over to the community as a MULTI-MEDIA INSTITUTE to teach and train community Youth. We were invited to the studios to give the presentation (A 30-PAGE BIZ PLAN - The best thing for MR. PERRY and the community) but after communicating back, the answer was "that they are not interested at this time." How could you not be interested in HELPING THE COMMUNITY WHERE YOUR BUSINESS IS LOCATED? This may be a good CURRENT example of WHITE FINANCE OF BLACK LEADERS. The contact person that we were given to talk with and communicate with was (you guessed it) a White Boy. He was very respectful and listened attentively but the answer was still NO!

Some had forewarned that this would happen but we had to carry it out to the fullest extent in order to have the fullest and most current answer... NOW WE KNOW FOR SHO!

Thank you and RIP Steve Cokely.
