Obama's speech about being Trayvon Martin is like an un-sharpen   pencil it has no point!

Beloved R.C., I must use, like an un-sharpen  pencil it has no point, when ever the opportunity arises.

Thank you

how do you live off 600.00 a month that is what some males and women must do reason why is not the problem. Most our black men have records and mental issues plus low education and training, no father support, and social hate

yes I would love to start a city block club where we can be on the same page and get everyone involved, and good info and support all who needs it, to many people out here needs a friend and kindness, positive support, nobody should be going hungry or no lights , water gas, in our community. I had help from strangers more than help from my family . Neighborhoods need to be more open and welcoming without the red tape, we do need the watch and homeowners associations but we have communities that don't, so the city block will be there to take up the slack and help more , its a start

Agreed Sister Tanessa, action not talk. It is hard to work when folks are talking. Organized city block clubs can do more to change a community (including self defense) that all the Cornell West's and other talkin' heads.

I feel that we need to stay get off the tv and get out in the community more and talk face to face, it seems that black folks were more in-tuned and harmony when we had leaders like Sojourner Truth Harriet , Fredrick , Malcolm,  Huey Booker T we were working together in person with a common goal, with civil rights movement to me seems to had ended that concept, we should have stayed separate but equal. I am a victim of civil rights,we free now LOL lets be like white folks SAD , fancy car , fancy clothes, fancy house , so they worked harder, longer, forgot about the kids now they are the welfare sufferer's, and for ones who say you could have , if you , its your fault, you may be right on some but not all aspects, cause you are fighting on two fronts, low self-esteem, and racism, As soon as was going to college president Reagan stop welfare paying for daycare for welfare recipients and zI had to family or friends to help or wanted to help, So time after time of let downs you give up but thanks goodness I have not folded

With all due respect, Malcolm used to rip civil rights leaders on TV, but I understand what you're saying about being in the trenches.
