In this time of Financial Hard ships, people out of work,
Houses being lost to foreclosure and YOU are going on strike?
NFL players make tens of millions of dollars. They are constantly in the news for wife abuse, driving under the influence, carrying guns (and shooting themselves in the butt).
Most can’t do anything else but play sports. I imagine they would be happy making 50,000 dollars.
Don’t get me wrong I like football. But I am first a teacher. As a teacher I see the damage that the new attitude that sports participants have. They do not realize it is an honor to play sports. They do not realize they have a responsibility to serve as role models whether they want to or not.
If they go on strike with millions out of work, they will not get sympathy from me. This in my humble opinion is not the time.
How much more money do you need? If you make 10 million dollars you do not need benefits. On strike for what?
I guess I need Arlena to explain it to me. I do not understand, but my mind is open.
Currently I hope that if they go on strike, they are permanently replaced. Someone wants to convince me otherwise, I am listening
