Health Care Reform

The opponents of Health Care often say “too Much Government Interference is bad.” Rush Limbaugh an anti Obama Radio host says Government should not interfere in business, let the free enterprise system work. Let the free market system dictate what happens.

How soon we forget.
When government did not “INTEFERE”;
Big business hired children to work in factories and paid them pennies a day-Child labor laws stopped this

Standard Oil FIXED prices unfairly so consumers had to pay more and other companies could not compete-Government broke the company up

AT&T stopped the growth of telecommunications by controlling the Industry-The Government broke them up and now you can get phone service for as low as $20.00 a year AND we have FREE LONG DISTANCE

Companies refused to give raises and often fired those who asked for a raise-The Government enacted The Minimum Wage Law

Women on jobs were often bothered by their bosses with no recourse if they wanted to keep the job.-the Government passed Sexual Harrassment laws that has almost eliminated that problem.

Look at countries where the Government does not have any control, China for instance. The workers make 50 cents a day. American companies are sending the work there-The Government needs to interfere more.

My question is who are the crowds of people that protest openly in front of the news cameras about health care?

Are they the people who would have benefited from the bill not passing? (those who make over 250,000 dollars a year)
I think not

Were they the Insurance company owners? I think not.

Who were they? Were they the people who had jobs who would not have insurance if they got laid off? I think not.

ACTION STEP:
We must be more vocal about legislation we need. We must write letters. We must send e-mails.
The news says the democrats did NOT LISTEN TO THE PEOPLE.
I do not believe the majority of the people are against health care.
The Republicans are expecting to upset the Democrats who voted for Health Care
WE must vote
We must re-elect those who voted for health care.
Many people do not vote in midterm elections
WE must change that
We must vote

THE PEOPLE AT LARGE DO WANT AND NEED THIS BILL.
