In my life time I have witnessed a lot of things that give me problems. Not as many that give me joy thank goodness. Still there are little problems
One of the things that give me an unreal problem is welfare.
Now, I feel that the United States is one of the most powerful countries in the world today. We have it really going on here. You name it we got it. If we don't have it we will get it next or first.
I feel that there should be no hungry people in this country. I feel that for those that have no food, clothes or housing should be helped. After all we send food to other countries.

I have no problem with welfare if it is being handled correctly. Some Americans just can't get a grip on providing for themselves.

Here is how I feel some things could be handled to make things better and easier for our country. If you have some ideas please comment.

Instead of lining people up and giving them boxes of food, why not teach people how to produce their own food? I was taken by that old saying "Give a man a fish and feed him for one day.
Teach a man to fish and feed him for a life time."

Growing up in the south with some good old country folks, I was lucky to have been taught how to feed myself under the worst conditions. Now that I am older I can truely see what a blessing that was. As I walk through the streets of some of the major cities of the United States I meet more and more people in this country that have no idea how to eat if that welfare system stops for some reason.

This country has an abundance of resouces that people just fail to use now. I can't blame the people for that. It has been made to easy for them to walk to the store. To this end I contribute the weakening of character that we see in our youth to the so called advancements of a great country. There is no challenge to living a basic life anymore.

No more do you see adults taking time to teach their chidren how to grow a garden. (Most of them don't know how) If we look at the history of this country you will see this. People survived this United States by learning how to grow and process food and raise animals. This is slowly becoming a lost art due to the welfare system. I would like to challange the people that read this blog to teach a child how to fish and grow a garden. Lets work on making this a better place for all.

That would be great. I would love to have WACPTV behind me on this. This has been such a good networking site for me I almost expected your support.
I have started to put the details on my site AndyClyde's Inc Please, I ask that everyone that has an interest in green living, helping kids and learning from nature, just take a look at the announcement. If you or your business can help in anyway please share the love. This is sponsored by a non profit org so any donation is tax deductable.
I still need poles, bait, inspirational speakers, volunteers, transportation and hotdogs. Please contact me clydeanderson@andyclydes.net or 904 312 3265.
I am happy to say that I have been contacted my members of this site already and that makes me very proud.
Tommy Webb and I go way back, Mattie Rock has contacted me and we know she is a top rate networker, Deborah Hardnett
has pulled in also. I have even gotten a RSVP from Florida, now that's exciting.
I know as an adult I have been taught some good things from people that invested their time effort. I don't have much but I would like to give something back. God has given me a talent and if my talent can teach one kid to fish and that kids teaches another kid, how good can that be?
Bro Hassan I will be getting in touch with you soon and we can work out some details. I would like to make this event something great for all involved esp the children.

You are so right Tommy, so let's take this to a level that will allow us to bring awareness back to our folks.
We Are Creative People and time has shown that over and other again. We have survived some of the worst
the world could throw at us.
It is my belief that now the two most powerful things again us today is drug addiction (I have seen what it did to the Native American) and welfare. Sometimes the things we think are helping us are the things that weaken us.
We are a people that are strong and resouceful by nature but we are becoming soft and as you pointed out unaware.
I am a poor man that is trying to do my part and teach our young people how to take matters into their on hands. "WE DON'T NEED A HAND OUT WE JUST NEED A HAND"
If you can't attend the Atlanta Fish Festival please contact me and donate. I have been getting hot dogs so now I need some buns. If you are in the Atlanta area and you would like to attend this or help with the sucess of the event please contact me at clydeanderson@andyclydes.net.
