This is a poem I wrote to express sadness as well as to give hope to those who ever grieved a love one at passing. Be encouraged to know that your friends or loved ones are no longer experiencing lifes trials but are at peace. I want to tell you to live your best life and inspire others to be happy as well.

Shocked Straight from Reality

Still staring out through the glass
That fits the old window frame
All stained
I cried many tears
It’s like it had just rained

So much heartache and so much pain,
Thinking of loved ones who suffered-
Before going on to glory,
This is the saddest part
Of this real life story.

Often I try to maintain,
From the agony of pain.
God, please stop the torture
Of this mental strain
The reality of life’s storm drain.
Please understand me
When I say,
I’d give anything
To see my love ones again
Today
However if not today
one day, I’ll find comfort
Not from the glass that fits
The old window frame
all stained
until the day
I see my love ones again.
Can you feel my pain?
