Mission Statement

The Agriculture-Culinary Department of the Homeless Network is a not-for-profit organization whose goals are to help build sustainable solutions towards "Learning to Grow and Feed Yourself." Food is a necessary and vital commodity for everyone yet the cost and questionable quality of food has risen to a crises state worldwide. Genetically Modified Foods are on the rise along with prices and we want to do our part in assisting people through hands on project.

The "Agri-culinary" department of the Homeless Network, Inc. is dedicated to feeding the homeless and the needy. We also teach people how to garden, preserve the food that they harvest and also cook nutritious and delicious meals.

When someone is referred to our food pantry, they will be offered the opportunity to sign up for gardening classes, canning and preserving classes and also cooking classes.

Here at the Homeless Network, Inc., We don't believe in feeding people a fish if they are hungry, we teach people how to fish so they will never be hungry again.

The Homeless Network, Inc. Urgently need your help. As the economy goes thru
one of the worst stages since the great depression of the 1920’s, homelessness
and the need for feeding people daily is on the increase. Adults and children alike
are counting on us to provide a way out, a hand up and a way to make ends meet.

Every Saturday, there is a Church down the street from me that feeds approx. 500 to 1000 people.  They have been doing this for over 25 years.  This is wonderful work that they do, But its GIVE a man a fish.  I love the idea of Teach a man to fish that is being done here.  This is truly sustainable.  I hope I can help in some way.  Also, do you accept small donations via paypal ?  It might help your fundraising efforts.  Keep up the good work.
