One of the highest paying jobs is infrastructure deep tunnel construction requiring certification in plumbing engineering.

To build up a town or city sanitation is key component, therefore constructing a sewage and waste treatment network system requires tunnels to collect rainwater and sewage runoff, then treating that wastewater converting to fertilizer. The city of Milwaukee Wisconsin has been doing this for decades ( a model to study).

I'll start this off by listing some tips I tweet on a regular bases at @TndTraining

#Maintenance Tip 1:Rewind by baking to exceed 680 F = less efficient shortened half-life #motor . Better way - http://chilp.it/045fd2

#Maintenance Tip 2: Using a straight pipe with your air #compressor to blow off parts? Use a nozzle. Not only #safer, saves #energy.

#Maintenance Tip 3 : Keep an up to date list of all #PLC model types, part availability, program copies and details for all PLCs located in your company.

#Maintenance Tip 4: To become less OEM dependant greatly reduces downtime and associated cost. http://www.bin95.com PLC training focus on this goal.

Maintenance Tip 5: Equipment cost justification, you assume an inflation rate, level of maintenance, etc. Always do a sensitivity analysis. - “what-if”

Maintenance Tip 6 : Equipment cost justification, don’t forget health and safety reasons, TDC for downtime cost calculations. DowntimeCentral.com

Maintenance Tip 7: Mindset - A fan going backwards, will suck and not blow. This is true for axial flow fans, but not for centrifugal fans.

Maintenance Tip 8: The wrong bearing grease can burn up, causing bearing damage, or even damage to man or machine. Too much or too little, too bad too.

Maintenance Tip 8 PM - preventative maintenance stops breakdowns. Keep your eye on the ball, just a reminder. :>)

Maintenance Tip 10: 3 help ‘tools’ for proactive & reliability maintenance. Root Cause Analysis, Weibull Analysis and Lifecycle Simulation.

Maintenance Tip 11: Once equipment or a process is allowed to run outside its design limits, it will fail quickly.

Maintenance Tip 12: Safety is a result of good planning AND Good Training. Don’t just learn how, learn how-to safely and reliably. www.bin95.com

Maintenance Tip: 13 When procuring parts, supplies or training material online, look for the Better Business Bureau (BBB) seal and rating. They should have an A or A+

Maintenance Tip: 14 Hiring your next Maintenance tech or Engineer? Expect them to work with PLCs? PLC test for them at http://www.bin95.com/Employee-Training-Assessments/PLC-Training-Ass...

Maintenance Tip: 15 Generally world class organizations do 8% or less reactive work.

Maintenance Tip: 16: Choice of the appropriate shaft seal and seal configurations to protect against dust ingress is critical.

Maintenance Tip: 17: To reduce dust ingress into bearing housings, bearing housings can usually be purchased with two or more seals in parallel.

Maintenance Tip: 18: To reduce dust in bearing housings, change from greased bearing housing to one which is sealed and greased for life.

Maintenance Tip: 19: Seals and wipers can be used in conjunction with the mechanical seal. Mount auxiliary seals so they see the dust/water first.
