One reason I love the Internet is that you can find new things to learn every day. And I like learning. I especially like learning when it helps me satisfy my raging sweet tooth. One of my absolute favorite things in the world is ice cream. I could probably eat ice cream every day. It’s one of the few things I actually say that about. The other is tacos. But that’s neither here nor there. Today, let’s talk about the ice cream. Now, think about the best ice cream you’ve ever had. It’s probably been at a small ice cream parlor that makes their ice cream homemade. There’s a reason that it tastes better when it’s homemade. And if you thought that you weren’t able to re-create that at your home, you’re wrong. Making homemade ice cream is not nearly as hard as you probably think. Just a few ingredients, and five or 10 minutes, you can be in heaven, enjoying creamy delicious ice cream that you made with your own two hands! All you need is milk and cream, sugar, vanilla and other flavorings if desired. Two freezer bags, ice and salt complete the list of supplies needed. Literally all you have to do is mix the milk and cream with the sugar and vanilla/other flavorings and pour it into the smaller of the two freezer bags. Seal it after making sure there is as little air is possible inside. Place it inside the bigger bag would you have filled halfway with ice and plenty of salt. Close that bag up, pop on some gloves and shake it vigorously for 5 to 10 minutes, scoop it out and enjoy sweet, delicious, homemade ice cream. See the video and full instructions.
