The following is a History Making page of discussion for those who want to see and receive REPARATIONS NOW! Let this discussion also be a testament that answers the SAGGING Question... WHY ARE THEY SAGGING AND WHAT CAN BE DONE ABOUT IT!
We have contained within our DNA many mystical abilities that we take for granted and fail to recognize even when they look us right in the face. We continue to ask others for what we can have on our own faster, larger and much more rewarding than what anyone from the outside could ever offer. That is, even if they ever did decide to make an offer. And don't forget that Black Farmers were awarded a small settlement for their pain and suffering but have not yet received it. HOW LONG CAN WE KEEP WAITING WHEN OUR NEEDED REPAIRS KEEP GETTING WORSE OFF EVERY DAY.
We, as an Original Afrikan - African Descendant People, should not have to ask anyone to repair us although ii know and THE WORLD KNOW that OUR REPARATIONS IS FAR PAST DUE. How long can we keep begging and crying out to others for help and repair of that which we have at our disposal RIGHT NOW TO REPAIR OURSELVES... OUR UNITED & ORGANIZED HUMAN RESOURCES.
Our youth may or may not know that when they sagg their pants, that is like a billboard that tell the world that REPAIR IS NEEDED IMMEDIATELY. No one in their right thinking mind would disgrace themselves in this manner unless they are totally insane or that this is an unknown phenomena. It is a true PHENOMENA in that this sagging has caught on and is demonstrated nation wide and into other countries and other nationalities. It is truly a sign of rebellion towards (the establishment) the evils and ill-wills that have gone on and what is yet going on now. They are actually saying... "UNTIL WE SEE BETTER DAYS, WE WILL JUST SHOW YOU OUR ASS". If we think this is disgusting and indecent, then what about the DISGUSTING AND INDECENT ACTS WHICH PRECEDED IT (sagging) AND CAUSED IT. Like focusing on the UGLY CIVIL RIGHTS DEMONSTRATIONS without looking at what caused them to demonstrate. Physical Slavery could not and would not have ended if there were no rebellions... Today is no different. There is no substantial united movement amongst African American People today other than The Sagging Pants Movement. WHAT DOES THAT SAY FOR US AS A PEOPLE?
Those of you who think that it (sagging pants) will just fade away or that the courts will come with a solution... fines and jailing, you may have a very long wait. But for those who truly want to help bring about CHANGE NOW, we want to introduce you to what we believe is a solution ... THE ZAGGIZ CAMPAIGN.
"ZAG" - MEANS a reversal or sharp sudden turn or CHANGE IN COURSE OF DIRECTION. Those who join the CAMPAIGN TO HELP TURN OUR YOUTH AROUND TO A MORE POSITIVE DIRECTION are called "ZAGGIIZ." ZaggiiZ is like unto the "HARLEM RENAISSANCE"... "THE CHITTERLINGS CIRCUIT" and the "CIVIL RIGHTS MOVEMENT" all put together to fit this day and time.
Many so-called African Americans believe that since Mr.Barack Obama became President of the USA, we as a people have arrived. We really need to reassess the times with Millions of African Americans in prisons, Millions unemployed and unemployable, Millions being foreclosed on and laid off from work, we all need to ZAG... "TURN SWIFTLY AND SHARPLY IN A NEW DIRECTION!"
The ZaggiiZ Campaign is focused on the YOUTH but it is not just about youth. It is focused on African Americans but it is not just about African Americans. People of all Races, all Religions and all levels of ages and economic statures are asked to participate. WHY, because if one of us is hurting now, all of us will feel it sooner or later.
The ZaggiiZ Campaign is designed to do the following:
1. Organize a most unique and creative National Tour and Talent Competition where youth 6-26 (from coast to coast) can showcase their talents and skills in exchange for contracts, prizes and awards. Our youth need a positive sweep of new energy to challenge their minds and get them off the streets and into positive doing projects of national competition in areas other than sports and rapping.
2. Establish family and community support systems for our youth and their projects. A family and community that works together in support of our youth are also helping to heal and repair our youth who are the assets of our future growth as a people, community and a nation.
3. Employ and empower our communities by establishing an annual event that will not just speak (in seminars and workshops) to the youth, but will bring repair to participating vendors, sponsors and those suppliers. Contracts awarded to winning entries (in music, food movies, plays, fashions, digital software and other new products) will all provide new opportunities for hundreds in each category and situation..
HISTORY IN THE MAKING...
Whether you are one who believe that we must repatriate back to Africa, receive Reparations here and Now OR work for freedom, justice and equality, we all agree that REPAIR IS NEEDED NOW.
Since there is no sign of getting it from without, WE MUST ORGANIZE AND REPAIR OURSELVES. WE CAN START WITH OUR YOUTH since they are the ones who are CRYING OUT (Sagging) THE LOUDEST and they are the ones who are hurt the worse with no seeming change in sight.
PLEASE STUDY, ENDORSE AND SUPPORT THE ZAGGIIZ CAMPAIGN TODAY FOR TOMORROW MIGHT BE TOO LATE.
THANKS BELOVED HASSAN.
REPARATIONS NOW OR THE FEMA CAMPS.
Thank You Bro. Hassan for this much needed Challenge. I'm sure you envision more that just endorsements. Because I believe any tangible effort large or small will move us closer towards self-repair. I would like to pledge small fundraising assistance from the NYC area for this effort. I would also like to pledge skills mobilization assistance and needs assessment database which I think would be an interesting tool to bring us together. This is a small contribution I know. But, there are almost 40 million Afrikans here in America. If just the 50 thousand Afrikans who like myself, attended the 2002 Reparations Rally in Washington, DC take this effort past the Rally stage and build infra-structure; Then Reparations becomes more than fashionable social commentary. Like the Garvey Movement, It becomes reality. Pan-Afrikanism should not be a hobby, But, a means of survival. Just wanted to let you know, I hear you loud and clear.
