You know I really can't believe what is happening here. It's not just here but I feel the same way about my forum and a lot of others.

I feel it is a shame that in a year where our next president could be a man of color we have become what I feel as lazy, lazy, L A Z Y.

We have a couple people that I would like to give a pat on the back. That is few and far between.

As a young man, I was told that it was my duty to read the news paper every day to keep up with the current events. That was considered a means of getting the edge Maybe the old folks where wrong, they meant I should advertise in a newspaper everyday and ignore the information in front of me.

Also I was told that if you didn't what Black people to know what was happening just
write it down. Why? Because Black people don't read. (Hmmmmmmmm)

Also I have been told that if you want change you have to complain and/or talk about it
enough to get something done. Maybe that why I like driving in white nieghborhoods. It is so rare to hit a pot hole there.

I look at all the folks on this site and I wonder what is going on????? No opinions, no comments, no thoughts. The only information I see passed is by the same people over and over again. Now the one thing I do see is loads of advertisements. I mean loads of advertisements........we are talking a lot of meanless advertisements that don't even tell you what your products is about. Just send me your money and look like Tyra Banks.

I can understand that all of us don't have the time to spend the hours I spend on the computer. I realize that some people have issues with speaking up. I understand that
some of us don't have the skills and that makes you uncomfortable. But if Brother Hassan offered free tickets to a concert you would figure out a way to overcome all these issues and get that ticket. If someone tells you to copy and paste an advertisement and you will get rich you will dive in that hole.

I hate to sound like I am upset, life will find a way. I just feel that this tool called internet is the greatest thing to happen to us in my 50 plus years on this earth and we chose to let it past us by.

Now I have said what is on my mind and I am sticking with it. So, don't just sit there, that is for those of you that have been able to read this far, and nod your head. Tell me what you think about it. Even if it no more that Amen. That is fewer key strokes than it takes to get on that dating site

Aman Brother! I am in your church, in the chior and on the ursher board. Th e notion that Black folk don't read is somewhat true but Black Book stores don't go out of business although they have competition from BNobles, Doubleday and others. What I see is a few of us hold up for the rest of us in everything... AND I DO MEAN EVERYTHING! You may think that this is all that I do.... all that Ar Lena, JC, Dwight, Kamal, Crystal and You Clyde do. But to the contrary, we all have loads of other things to do daily.

I believe that it is more about priorities and caring for our fellow Brothers and Sisters. We want to be a part just in case this takes off but we don't want to help. Just as easy as you recruited 12 people to this site in 2 days, it only took a moment of caring. Caring for the HomeSpace which is free to you and also caring for the people you invited to be a part.

SUGGESTIONS:
1. INVITE YOUR FRIENDS & FAMILY TO VIEW THE UNIQUE LIBRARY OF WACP VIDEOS.
2. START A FORUM YOURSELF IN ORDER TO APPRECIATE THE ONES POSTED BY OTHERS... WHO ARE STILL WAITING ON YOUR REPLY.
3. TRY LOGGING IN AT THE SAME TIME DAILY AND DEVOTE ONE TO TWO HOURS.

The Internet may not be available forever and we need to do as much as we can to help ourselves and others with this awsome open and free medium.
What I am about to share, will shock you into reality ' IF YOU CARE TO READ IT!'. It will INSPIRE you to get THE WORD out to others immediately 'IF YOU READ IT'. In fact, it is and will be the GREATEST TRUTH YOU WILL EVER HEAR and it will have an INSTANT effect on ALL WHO CARE TO SIMPLY READ IT.

IT IS TIME THAT WE STOP BULLSHITTING EACH OTHER! That's right I said a bad word. Or maybe you would like for me to say... The Dysfunionality of our daily rheteric need to be overhauled and upgraded in order that we may continue.

SO, let's get it started anyway...

Reading today has gone to another level. Call it being lazy or just taking advantage of modern high technology... TV is king and Video is Queen. While Reading is fundamental, Visuals are Fun, Relaxing and preferred 50 to 1 even on web sites. That is how and why YouTube grew so big so fast. Visual info is the fast food of the information age.

We Are Creative People, we all admit that when we sign up in this community. CREATIVE (the action adjective) is the root of all things from thought to fruition. CREATIVE is always the answer when something need to change or be made anew. To CREATE (the vocal verb) is to action out whatever is needed at the time. To CREATE is to begin. THE CREATOR (notorius noun) is one who Imagineers.... imagine something and then engineer it into existance.

Hassan Raheem is CREATOR of WACP Community but We (all) Are CREATIVE PEOPLE. Children of THE ONE CREATOR. We all have been blessed with some valuable TALENT, SKILL, PRODUCT, SERVICE, VENUE, EVENT and numerous other RESOURCES, GOALS and OBJECTIVES.

If WE take on the title of BEING CREATIVE PEOPLE, there should be nothing in the world that WE ARE CREATIVE PEOPLE OF PURPOSE CAN NOT ACCOMPLISH TOGETHER... RIGHT?

DID YOU KNOW OR EVEN CARE THAT OVER 2.5 MILLION BLACK FOLK ARE LOCKED DOWN IN THE PRISON SYSTEM. THAT THE EVENING NEWS IS THE GREATEST PROMOTER OF HATRED TOWARDS BLACKS especially the young Black male. And that FORCLOSED ON HOMES, MASSIVE LAYOFFS AND DRUGS IN OUR COMMUNITIES ARE ACTS OF WAR. HOW LONG WILL WE CONTINUE TO BE COMFORTABLE AND CARELESS... I GUESS UNTIL THE ABOVE FIGURES HIT CLOSER TO YOU. I AM NOT A DOOMSAYER, I AM AN ORGANIZER OF PURPOSE.

I SAVED THE BEST FOR LAST: WACP is a daily history book of CREATIVE People who have come together to placed their resume on a page (since April 24, 2008) AND THEN show how committed they can be by participating in COLLECTIVE WORK and responsibilities.

WACP.TV is that new VISUAL BOOK VEHICLE that tells the REAL STORY and CREATE NEW OPPORTUNITIES while BUILDING OUR OWN MULTI-MEDIA NETWORK... designed as an EMPOWER MOVEMENT. If our People don't READ but they are getting entertainment and information from other sources, then we must CREATE a comparable source to GET THE TRUTH, NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH SO HELP ME OUR CREATOR..
Congrats!...your post is the Featured Forum for today!
Ar Lena
Well, I think it is more complicated than what you have said. Consider the effects of desegregated schools upon the Black psyche. Before desegregation there was a positive feeling among blacks about being black. African Americans are the only group here that do not have a ethnic nationality attach to a distinct culture to identify like Jamaicans, Haitians, Nigerians etc. Africa is a continent not a culture. You do not see the ethnic confusion in individual from the west Indies or Africa that you find in African Americans having the traditional roots back to U.S. Slavery. Check out the attitudes- let us say- in New York City among ethnics, you have business and political unity among west Indians and Africans in establishing business and community. My own neighborhood has transitioned in to mainly French speaking Africans who communicate with each other and own businesses. They do not hate each other, but their problems arise when dealing with African Americans coming from the traditional U.S.slavery back ground. However, the term African American lumps all blacks together which I think is an unfair generalization and does not truly describe the people of color in the United States. This seems to me to be more of the mis-education of the Negro. Finally, the brother killed on his way home from his bachelor's party did cause a big outcry in New York City, did you miss it on the news?
Thank you my brothers for your comments. This is some I do feel strongly about and your comments are welcome. Brothe Hassan asked me the other day what I wanted this site
to do for me. I am sorry to say that my reply was That I wanted him to help me spread the news
about an African Herb that has helped me with my pain. As the day went on that question stayed
on my mind. Yes, it would be go the being us back to medications that are geared to us but
my real pain is seeing the down fall of a great nation of Black people. I will try to comment or thank each of you for adding to this post.
MyAfrican, I for one feel your suggestion are very important to the growth of our folks.
It is important to get involved in the communications and not leave someone hanging.
I have often heard people say I will get back with them while in the mean time the gap
has caused damage to the conversation.
I have seen people try to run businesses on the computer by devoting 4 hours a day.
Then they wonder why their business is not becoming a large success. Now I am only using that as an example to say this. The black people that can just operate a computer well enough to cut it on and find this site is less than 10%. Not only should we devote at least 2 hours per day, that we should strive to bring someone new to this media as often as possible.
I Clyde"AndyClyde"Anderson will come to anyplace that needs me to help set up computer centers and classes the help close what our government looks at as "The Digital Divide" among young Blacks.
Brother Hassan these are some strong words, but I co-sign this message
I can remember that we fought hard to get the names of our people into the history books during a period when we could only clebrate Negro History Week. We, as children, could be stopped any time an asked who was Craver, Douglas and Tubman . Even the most educationally challange child could answer that question, and have a story to go with it. Now right in the city of Atlanta on Alburn "Sweet Alburn" you can stop a child and ask who is Martin Luther King was and get a stutter and possibly an answer of "I don't know". If we would just look at all the accomplishments and strives we have made since 1866 it would amaze you. Black people came out of slavery and put America back on our backs and carried it to what I call "The Greatest Show On Earth". I am very Pro Black and also Pro America.
What I am seeing now is that we are making it hard on ourselves to live comfortable in this country that we help build with blood. We need to realize who we are before we damage ourselves beyond help
Mr Hayes you would be surprised to know that it was a White man that told me that the last thing Blacks wanted was intergration. He told me that he had work with around Black long enough to know that he welcomed it more that we did. He told that the being of intergration was the start of destruction of a great and proud people.
I personally don't like being call an African American but we all have our own preferences. Thank you for your commen please get back with me
Thank you, I think
And thank you for posting it. It shows that you care enough to voice your concerns.
Unity and wealth unto you my brother!
It is truly refreshing to read the comments of someone that is not completely dedicated to making money on this site.
I am not looking to make money on this site, I am dedicated to giving my entire ethnic group reasons to desire to become united and self-sufficient.
My organization is building multi trillion dollar treasury without dues or donations.
Negros don't believe we can do this so they refuse to join us and help.
We are not looking for negros, we are looking for true Black people.
The people that are not doing things to help us overcome the status quo are our negros.
Don't feel mad because they are doing the best this system's logic will allow them to do.
Negros prefer to operate only in the system's box.
We are teaching our members to give our people free labor.
Negros believe free labor and bartering is the same thing.
